I would like to know if one needs neon UV for a goniurosaurus luii or not?
Because of the people put some and of other not, then I would once like to be sure…

No they actually prefer very low light levels when they are active. Some like it almost pitch black before they come out.

It was to be sure because the majority use UV and the light is very sharp, too for a cavernicolous animal, their eyes are fragile…

You can use a grow light for plants if you need to, but the animals don't become active until the light levels are very low or off. CB animals are a little more forgiving of the light level.

A few will eat during the day though if the food enters the hide.
