Default cave geckos (goinurosaurus orientalis) not feeding

i have a pair of goinurosaurus orientalis and they have not being eating very well lately. I have tried them on black crickets, brown crickets and small locusts without any success. They reguarly recive calcuim aswell. They probably only eat a couple of crickets per week and as a result have lost a bit of weight.

They are kept in small exoterra plastic faunariums with several hides and one damp moss area. They are sprayed every other day and have all shed several times. The temperature is about 27 degrees during the day and drops to 22 degrees on a night.

I also keep about 5 other species of goinurosaurus and are all eating food readily and thriving

any additional information would be a great help. I am thinking it may be temperature related i.e the tmperature on a night is too low/high?

many thanks

If I were you I would try to lower the day temp to about 25 C. The night temp sounds fine but could be lowered to 20-21 C. Japanese Gonis like it cooler than main land forms ( luii and litchtenfelderi forms) but even with my Hiananensis and Luii I dont let it get past 26-27. My Kuroiwae and splendens stay at about 25 C day and 20-21 C at night. As for the feeding Ive never run into any problems with them not eating but I think the temps might be the cause. Do you keep them single?
