Default Shyness of Goniurosaurus spp?

Hi,
I have been reading-up abit on Goniurosaurus, and was wandering how secretly they realy are. I see alot of people say they are realy secretive and shy geckos. But compared to wich species? Are you able to view them hunting in the terrarium after the lights go out, or do they run and hide at the first sign of anyone waching them? I keep Uroplatus sikorae, they hate light, and press them selves to the branch they are on if you point directly at them with the torch, but they dont mind me waching them with low lights, and do even sometimes take crickets straight of the forceps. Could this be compared to the behaviour of Goniurosaurus species?

Cheers,
Jan Philip.

Default Cave Geckos

I keep most of my adult geckos in screened cages. These guys like a lot of humidity but with the right spray equipment and proper substrate they're fine. The screen cages work great and you can see them a lot more. These guys love to climb and the screens allow them to. I have a few that will take mealies right out of my hand. I've worked various species for several years now especially luii's. I'm not comparing them to Leo's but they have there similarities. Cave geckos are shyer then Leo's but it depends on how you house them and how much time you spend with them.

Thanks for the reply. They deffinitly dont sound as bad as i imagined from some of what i have read. If it is possible to view them at night, hunting and whatnot, i am more then satisfied

Mine enjoy hiding in their caves and humid hides, but they are active also. Its kinda a toss up with them. They dont run at the sight of light or anything like that, and its no problem watching them eat
