Default might get a pair of Chinese cave geckos..

goniurosaurus hainanensis i belive there called A.K.A Chinese cave geckos. i have always been fascinated with this gecko (who hasn't) either the black and yellow pattern or glowing red eyes, your going to want one or two. i have only seen maybe 4 ads up in the past 2 years selling these reptiles and am working with someone to own a pair myself However there imports even though am promised there feeding and "healthy" for a import they will still be quarantined and be tested for parasites. now there inst much info about these animals. i will keep them apart in there own however the dealer said there ok together? so info on that would be great. i will be feeding them crickets, mealworms, wax worms i also have superworms to, as for bedding i will keep them on coco soft or cypress mulch with many hides, let me know what you think and thank you!

Cave Geckos are very fun to work with. WC Hainanensis were once very easy to find about 2 years ago. The past year or 2 though there have been problems getting them in. I have no clue why, I just no that no one could get any. Now all of a sudden in the past 2 weeks Ive seen 2 different importers have them, so hopefully we will see more to come Hainanensis are pretty easy to care for as long as you make sure they have high enough humidity and a temperature gradient of around 65-70 on the low side, up to 75-80 on the warm end. Make sure the temperatures do not go above 80 though because they can not handle temperatures that high. As far as working with WCs go, like you said, definitely quarintine and definitely get a fecal done. Most WC cave geckos come in very dehydrated and very skinny with regen tails. Realize that the WC hains you a purchasing will most likely not be anywhere near as gorgeous as the CB Hains you see pics of online, but once you produce some CBs of your own it will be very worthwhile

im getting some more as well

they are easy but you just have to keep them wet but not to wet. and warm but not hot.

to hot they will die to dry they will die

i use coco fiber with mine. i feed mine crickets and mealworms. i would not feed alot of waxworms because they are high in fat.
i use vionte on my mealworms. suplimentation is the key.

i got 1.4 cave geckos last year and they gave me 34 eggs and 28 babies.

here is a link to my post that i made awhile ago.

My cave geckos, their home, and their eggs - Geckos Unlimited

if you have any questions just ask us

PM me where you are getting yours from

also try not to stress them by handling them to much at first let them settle in they shouldnt be handled alot too.
