Default Does someone know what species is it ???

I will provide you more onformation on this gecko but first I would like to know if someone has already seen a Goniurosaurus like this.

Thank you a lot for the information you could provide me.

He's darker but with the flash it is difficult to have a good shot and I do not have my camera.

best regards

Alex

Default Unusual cave gecko

To me it looks like a chinese cave gecko minus the yellow banding. A patternless morph perhaps?

First guess is an old WC cave gecko. Maybe Hainanensis... What is the history of the gecko?

Hi,

I think Seekeroftrut is right.

It was in an fresh imported shipment of G. hainanensis that arrived on Wednesday.

The only thing is that he was the only one with this lack of bands aspect among the lot of hainan geckos. So I was not sure if this is a mutation or just an old gecko.

Yuri K. thought it was an old specimen too so I guess you are right guys.
I hoped it was maybe a new mutation among hainan gecko. I never see a specimen like that.

I will see this gecko this evening (he is at a friend's home) so I will see the size of the gecko.

Thank you for you replies.

Best regards

Alex

it is just an old G. hainanensis in my oppinion as well i have a few of them that are like this and its for sure not genetic. when i got my first one i was so excited about it but yea its just an old one. they are usually males as well.

good luck with it. once you get them settled in they usually do very well.
