Default species?

I've got an idea, just need to be sure.

Ok, my very non-scientific guess is G. hiananensis (Highland form), though I am not 100% sure, as these will be my first step into the whole Goniurosaurus thing.

Poking around here and elsewhere on the internet, that ID seems to be correct by looks alone, I somewhat suspect the adults were rather young when bred, but the offspring seem to be in good shape so I see little issues there. The only reason I mention this is because the adult pattern seems to be that of a younger but obviously adult version based on little pattern loss that seems common amoung the species.

Another thing I wanted to say was, the picrtures above are of one of the adults and one of the offspring, they are not in my hands just yet. Being listed as "Cave geckos" only is a tad bit frustrating but I'm sure we can figure it out here.

This is one of the adults shortly after being purchased in Feb 2010,

and this would be the second one.

If this helps with identification great, if not let me know what I will need to do the job correctly.

Thanks guys,
Maurice Pudlo

Now seeing the original pictures I'm even less sure of my ID, hmm, I truly hate feeling lost on gecko ID.

I also think they are G.hainanensis... another alternative would be lichtenfelderi, but according to some informations, lichtenfelderi should not have the yellow "neck" band reachind the mouth

We have them now, and my original thoughts are correct.

We couldn't be happier with the trio we received, thank you David.
