Default Goniurosaurus hainanensis Cage Size

So I have a question about the tank size for 1 or 2 of these geckos. I've spoken with a breeder and a few people who keep them and they are saying you can keep 2 in a standard 10g just fine. I am really looking into getting into these geckos and had the idea to do a natural rock cave wall and figured this gecko would fit the bill. From everything im reading people are saying go bigger, but I've also talked with others and im just trying to get a feel for these geckos. I have a spare 10 that i was really wanting to do a natural rock cave in and would love to know if these geckos would be a good fit. Thanks

I think it is ok for 1.
if you have luck with finding a good tolerant pair, or 2 females, they also can live there without problems, but if one of them will start to be dominant, you should separate them (= get another tank).

I had my pair living together in tank 51cm x 31cm x 30 cm, which I think is close to 10g (?, in my country we do not use measures like gallon,...), and the animals did fine (now they live separated).

a pair in a 10 gallon should be fine, they would be happier in a 20gallon long and they do love to climb, I would classify them as only semi-terrestrial as their claws allow them to grip onto basically anything with a little bit of texture to it. I am sure they would love a rock background- i am working on 4 20gal longs with lacerock backgrounds myself!

Thanks guys! Im really exited about making a rock background. I'm wanting to make it look like a cave with a few small plants. Thanks for the advise.
