i've been looking for a thermometer/hydrometer for awhile now, but i can't decide which one is best. i was going to get an exoterra, but it had so many bad reviews that i'm not sure it's the best one. i dont want to get a bad one and risk harming my gecko, does anybody know which one is the best?
    please help!

    thank you!!!

I'm not sure how you'd harm your geckos with a thermo/hygro combo??

Are you referring to the digital ones with a probe?

As for preferences...it'll really be up to you. I have ExoTerra and Zilla ones myself, as I've been trying them out to see which one works best for me.

    I've never tried Fluker's.

So far my favorite has been ExoTerra simply because of its small convenient size and battery longevity.

Do you have a list in mind of what you're looking at?

I meant by it being to hot/cold or to wet/dry. And i am looking of a digital with a probe. I will probably just get an exoterra though.
The ones i am looking at are exoterra, zoomeds and flukers, so if you know anything about those brands please tell me.

    Thank you!

    Ok, I understand now.

For me, I find ExoTerra has been the most reliable, based on owning several of them.
I've only owned one ZooMed thermo/hygro and it's worked fine as well.
The Fluker's brand has been the least reliable for me. I find it doesn't accurately measure humidity, and often zeroes out randomly.
