Default tail issue of my crested gecko - looks like rotting

    Hello!
Something weird is happening to my crestie's tail, looks like rotting. He's about 9 months old. I'm not sure if he has some problems with shedding on this part of tail, cause it was looking like tided up with the skin on this ending part and now it started to change to this slimy thing. Gecko is very active, eating fine, everything looks like healthy except the tail. Do you have any suggestions what to do? Should I wait to another shed or do a quarantine and put him to separate box? He's living together with another crestie (it's all fine, the same age) in a medium terra cage.
Here's the photos of the problem:

I don't have an imgur account; can you upload the pic from another site? is there a way to set it as public?

I would remove him to quarantine.

it might be constriction from stuck shed, or maybe his tail has been bit by his cagemates. it doesn't sound good, but I need to see the photos first.
