Exclamation Newbie question!

Hello! I am a new owner of two Fancy Crested Geckos. I seem to be picking up the info about caring for them pretty well the only thing I've been concerned about is if the alcohol in alcohol based hand sanitizer will have any negative effects on my cresties?

Do you mean handling them after you have sanitized your hands? Why would you do that anyways? Sanitize after you have held the geckos if you want..I dont' see that it would be a problem though as it mostly evaporates anyways..

Hah, your user name is the same as my female crested. I'm actually asking on behalf of a friend, he's a germaphobe and basically wears sanitizer 24/7 so I was just curious to know if it would harm the lizards skin or not.

Thumbs up

no. It will be fine. I own six cresties and breed them and I have never had a problem with it.

Thank you both for your input! I'm doing my very best to ensure these geckos live a happy and harmless life.
