Default 30 day old crested gecko egg

Ok, i am NOT into breeding, my Gecko's are just pets, but I did save 1 fertile egg, and have it incubating in a little tupperware container, in some moist perlite, my question is this... What is the egg supposed to look like when candled at about 30 days old? Thanks

If fertile you should see pink redish veins in the egg

do not candle it after the first time cuz you could stress out the egg.

lol I candle it once a week, I guess I will have a stressed out egg! :-\
Yeah, it's got a red outer hue all around it, with some faint red in the light/yellowish center. I guess its still doing ok then! Thanks

You don't really "stress out" eggs.

I generally don't candle mine, but others candle them often throughout the development process. Just be sure you keep them oriented in the same way, don't go flipping them over once the "magic cherio" settles in.
