anyone know where or how I get a wild cought crested gecko?

Unless you're OK with an older adult and can happen to come across one for sale that was captured 15 years ago it's not likely. Only a very small number (around 200) were originally brought out of New Caledonia, and it's not legal to take any more.

Very infrequently I've seen the first generation of offspring of wild caught cresteds (the original imports) forsale. I have not seen any of the original ones however. I think I remember someone with one WC male, I'm having difficulty finding the exact rules for this forum so maybe you could send me a private message and I could pass the info along?

Well I was thinking some new genetics would be nice and could be rewarding

You might check around for some F2 generation geckos, they're more likely to still be breeding age. Probably better luck looking in Europe than in the USA, as most of the F1s stayed there. You just missed the Hamm show, that probably would have been a good place to check.
