crested gecko feeding help!!

Do cresties need herptivite? I know the crested gecko diet is supposed to be enough but my crestie just won't eat it no matter what I do.. So if he is not eating that do I need herptivite or is it enough to just dust crickets with calcium. Also I just got a baby tokay gecko and was wondering the same question do they need herptivite??
