ok so ive had my crested gecko for a month now. the pet store i got him from fed him mostly crickets. every night i put cgd in his tank and he does not eat it. however its not due to stress because the moment i drop a cricket in there he eats him. ive tried dabbing it on his nose and he licks it once then walks away. ive also tried mixing it with baby food. i dont know what else to do. any suggestions? could it be the flavor or brand? i got the trex brand and its just regular flavor.

Try withholding crickets until he eats. It's tough love but eventually he will eat. I prefer the Repashy label over T-Rex as it's the latest formula. Buying online also gets the freshest product. Just mix with water so he won't hold out for sweeter foods. Some can be stubborn! Good luck!

You may want to change it every other day instead of every day. My crested likes it better the second day than the first one.

I agree, you need to stop feeding anything else till he's eating the CGD.

You MIGHT try feeding just ONE very small cricket that's been gooped up with CGD to help get him used to the flavor.

I would try that! my little male didnt eat for 4 days and that worked.
