There's really no "correct" answer. In the wild, it is very unlikely that they would encounter neonate rodents and eat them. Too many pinkies would probably cause a problem as they are fatty and don't contain much calcium because their bones aren't fully formed yet. I don't recommend them nor any vertebrate for insectivorous animals.
Rhacodactylus leachianus is a much larger gecko that is an opportunistic feeder that may occasionally enjoy vertebrate prey like pinkies, lizards, etc. But it's definitely not necessary and most Rhac keepers don't offer them routinely, if at all.
