Default What is my Crested Gecko's Morph?

Hello, I am new to this forum (well new member but I have been visiting for a while now looking at all the amazing Vivariums) My brother got a Crested Gecko from a former friend of ours in March 2011 and gave it to me in September 2011. I know it is a Crested Gecko and when I looked up the Morphs I couldn't figure out what morph it was... I am between the Tiger Morph and the Flame Morph... I took some pictures of her so please let me know what you think she may be. and thank you all in advance!

I apoligize for a picture quality... We have a not so good camera and a camra shy Gecko... and the glass needs to be cleaned again I can't seem to get the water stains off the side...

Looks like a VERY nice quality Extreme Harlequin. With quite a bit of pinstriping, as well.

Is she red, yellow, and white when all fired up?

I'd love to see more pictures of her, but from what I can tell, she is a gecko who I know many people would love to have in their breeding projects.

EDIT- is her tail kinked?

Hi, I agree with Laura Lee. She looks like a red partial pinstripe harlequin.
Pretty gecko!

Thanks the pinstriping made me think tiger stripes.

Yes when she gets mad at me like when I clean her cage she gets are red where she is normally tanish.

I have a few more pictures of her. (not the best quality and I apologize again)

and no her tail is full! I love it!

Pic 1 shows her full tail minus the very tip the camera cut off

Pic 2 is her climbing on a new aquarium log I just got today from my brother

Pic 3 I took last night I was trying to get her to rest on a plant I had to take a picture but she moved and perched on the side of the "pot"

Also (sorry this seems like a SUPER long post lol) I have a few questions about breeding as well. I have been researching making a Vivarium for her plus found a few things about breeding I am now wanting to breed her with a male if I can get one at my local pet store (they have a few but I am in the dark if they are male/female)

Q 1- When they do have eggs. do you leave them with the parents or move them to a seperate cage?
Q 2- the temp is dropping to freezing here so would they lay eggs this time of year/ or do they lay eggs year round when the temp is right?
Q 3- should I have the femal to male ratio be 1:1 or 2:1 would the male beat up on the Female if there is only 1? (sort of how Beta's are?)
Q 4- I know males are not good to keep together. can 2 females be housed together? or 2 females and 1 male be housed together?

I may have more questions eventually... But until I get a pay check (I start my job Monday!) this is all but a dream to me lol... also the tank I want to get for them is this:
Exo Terra : Habitat Kit Rainforest / Starter Kit
My local pet store has the Medium sized one in the shop I plan to get it is like $200 for the stand and everything that is included!

She is a lovely red harley IMO

Q1 - Some people leave them in the viv, but its risky as if the humidity isn't right they will dry out. So most people will use an incubator.

Q2 - If its freezing where you are, unless you are heating the vivs etc, they will stop laying. Generally people pair them up in the spring for a few weeks/months (up to you) and then take the male out to give all of them time to rest and put any weight back on they have lost.

Q3 - You can have 1.1 or 1.2 NOT 2.1 - you dont want to house males together, especially withn a female, they will fight A LOT may even kill each other.

Q4 - Same answer as above Females can be housed together, but you still need to keep an eye on them as not all females like other female company

Thanks She is Adorable!

So my brother and I are going to head to a pet store that we go to for our Feeder crickets (I have a Preying Mantis that is still alive) they have Crested Gecko's there and I plan to see if I can find a male. I am also going to be pricing their stuff so I can get ready to start setting up a few Vivariums for all my pets!

Good luck looking for a male, but please remember to quarantine any new animals you get first before introducing them to each other.
Also a female should be at LEAST 35g before breeding
