Question ? on raising the food dish off the ground

i've seen people have the food dish on the side of their in closer and wounder how you can do it with out a rock or something? one off my gecko dont like to come down to much.

You can buy or make your own magnetic or velcro food ledges. See http://www.pangeareptile.com/store/f...ro-ledges.html They also have mushroom feeder ledges, but they may be out of stock at the moment

You can order magnaturals online. With shipping they are expensive, close to $30. You can make your own. There is a youtube video, parts 1-7 on making your own. I went ahead and tried it. I spent about $60 on supplies, enough to make 3 ledges. But I had to get the magnets online. It was alot of effort. My suggestion, it's worth just buying them online. You dont necessarily need to buy the cups for them. You might find a lid from a jar that fits in perfect.
