I have started looking for a Male Red Harlequin Crestie... know a good breeder?

So thanks to this forum I was able to find out my Female Crested Gecko was a Red Harlequin with Pin striping. So now I have been searching google like no other trying to find a male of the same morph. My problem is I am finding lots of people selling females of the morph (all over $250 that crazy). So does anyone know a decent breeder I can contact Via email (no phone :/) to find a Male (tail or not). Thanks in advance, and I really hope I posted in the right area...

Debbie on here has a few lines of red cresties from solid red to harlequins but they are fairly expensive. I think I saw a red on pangea for but I do not believe it was harlequin.

Try on FaunaClassifieds Home Page and on the Pangea Reptile forum.

$250 for a good quality "high end" female is quite cheap IMO. I've paid around that for most of the unsexed hatchlings in my own collection. If your goal is to breed, my advice is always to invest in the best you can afford. Otherwise you may end up with 20 "low end" hatchlings that no one wants to buy, especially not online (when they'd also have to pay shipping).

You might have good luck getting a better price on a sub-adult (15-25 grams) confirmed male with visible pores if not a bulge. Many people do not want to raise up males to adulthood because they need to be housed singly and they might not fit current projects. Try to get the best color red you can, but it may be difficult to evaluate color under 15 grams. Good luck! It's always an adventure!
