where should I handle my geckos because I have furniture in every room and they could hide in/on all of it and I don't want them to get hurt. Any ideas?

If you have babies or jumpy geckos somewhere near the floor where a fall wouldn't hurt should be ok and not for very long periods of time starting out.

the furniture should matter as long as you supervise the gecko while it's out of the cage
