Default help! Juvie Crestie Hurt her leg!

[/quote]

a few days ago i noticed my crested geckos front leg is swollen, she is approx 26g. She is fed mostly cgd, about once a week sometimes once every other week i give dusted crickets. She does not have any retained shed, and if it were MBD wouldnt it happen to more then one limb? I recently moved her and her two roomies (one other female and a male) to a MUCH bigger tank (18x18x24 from a 12x12x1, and think she may have fallen when taking a big leap when we first put her in there a few days ago...she doesnt limp, or favor the leg, she is acting totally normal and getting around fine.

Can someone please give me some advise? What would a vet even be able to do if it was injured??

First off- you need to separate her from a male gecko ASAP. She is much too young to breed, and at an age/size where it's extremely likely that a male would try and breed with her.

I'd isolate her from both geckos, actually, and keep a close eye on what's going on with that leg. Another possibility is that her leg is swollen from a bite- it would be very common for geckos just moved into a new enclosure to start squabbling.

Do you have a vet you can take her to if her leg isn't better by Monday? Herp Vet Connection is a good place to look for one.
