Cool morph - "ology"

Does anyone consider crested geckos with blue iris' a true morph? i have seen a few, but i think it is a morph, similar to gargoyles.

I don't consider it a morph...there are a lot of them out there actually that have the blue eyes. Nobody I've known has ever tried to work on the trait further or anything because in crested geckos, I don't think many people find it to be that special. No offense to you if you do, but I've just never heard of anyone really into it.

So far there aren't any true morphs in crested geckos anyways.

Yup, just combinations of traits that we've rather arbitrarily classified into "morphs" that may or may not be genetically linked...

So if blue eyes is a trait you want to work with- go for it! We might all learn something!
