Default is my female a male???!!

my crested gecko that i thought was a female is now starting to show signs of a male!! she is about eight months and weighs 23 grams. she has barley started showing a small bulge (i have read that females can have a slight bulge) and has what i think are pores so does this mean she is actually a he?

Yes, if a Crestie for sure has pores, then it's for sure a male.

Sometimes they can have spotty scales that make it hard to tell one way or another, though- just this weekend I've decided I've got a female who I thought was male for the past 6 months or so due to some spotty scales LOL
