Default Possibly looking for an adult female crested

The problem I have is the three I have are all males, one of which is an adult, and the other two are still juvies I think... does it go by weight or size or both? Anyway, I'm not sure of the morph, but one of the juvies has some black dalmation, and I'm hoping to get rid of two males and get one adult female so I can breed it with my adult male. If anyone has some for sale, if you could send me a pm or something with prices and pics preferably that would be great and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks!

You go by age and weight. Females need to be a minimum of 18 months (most prefer 2 years) and 35 grams, males should be around 30g, though there's more leeway there since breeding is not as hard on their bodies as it typically is for females, who have to produce, carry, and lay the eggs.

And you should probably post a Want To Buy ad in the Classified section.

Yes I was hoping to, but the problem is I need to get rid of two of the males before I would actually buy a female, so I guess my was just to get an idea of what, if any, was out there for sale. By the way, is that two years and 30g(males) to 35g(females) when they are able to be bred also, or is just when they're and adult?

That's for breeding.

If you spend some time going through gecko forum classifieds (here, www.Pangeareptile.com 's forum, www.faunaclassifieds.com, etc) you should start getting an idea of how much whatever type of female you're looking for will run you.

I'd say average for a RTB female online is probably $150-500, depending on quality. Buying at a local expo is often cheaper, especially b/c then you don't have to also pay shipping.

Personally, I rarely buy RTB females, I generally buy young and then raise them up myself. This ensures that I know they were fed properly, not bred too young, and I can afford much nicer females by buying them younger.
