It's really common for geckos to go on "hunger strikes" when they go through changes- especially changes like moving enclosures, getting new roommates, etc. Just give them time to adjust and most likely, both will be fine.
You do have to monitor for food bullying, and some people do remove males after a few weeks or after confirmed mating just to make sure that their geckos don't lose too much weight, but if both breeders were of suitable weight to begin with (over 35g for females and at least close to 30g for a male), then a few grams either way is normal really nothing to worry about.
