I'd agree on calling it a flame, but the color might fade so I wouldn't call it a red. Also, it's not a tricolor by any means...good examples of tricolors have a lot of contrast, typically with yellow and white patterning on a dark base. They also have a lot of pattern too, and would be considered harlequins, not flames.
