Default "New" type of dalmatian?

Hi everybody, i just wanted to share a couple of pics and ask what do you think of them.

I've been breeding crested for a while now, and in the last years i was working with dalmatians, now i find this:

He is not shedding (i can assure it, and it isn't a matter of fired up or not), he's always been like this (now is a couple of months old).

I took this picture of one of his older brother under the same light for a comparison, now spots are clearly black and not like the ones of the first crested.

So what do you think about it?

That's definitely interesting...it's almost like sunspots that people get...they are there, but they aren't really prominent. It's like a gecko melanoma of the skin (non-cancerous )

Let us know if you have any more that come out like that as well. It's something I haven't seen before and I wonder if it's genetic or anything.

Ciao
it happens .. I had some babies, from a red female, who presented this character. I don't think it's a sort of dalmatian, is more like the stripes of the tigers .. but, instead of lines, they have spots. I jokingly called my babies "clouded" , in my case it's genetic; not in a precise percentage, of course, but it was always transmitted

Ciao Lalla

The strange fact is that the tiger gene isn`t present in any of the other babies (even in the parents), instead everyone is a dalmatian.
And dalmatian is classified as a "quite" dominant gene, so ins't strange that a baby from dalmatian parents doesn't have a single spot?>

no wait, I said it is similar in appearance to the tiger (like "consistency" of the pattern), but even my pair, from which these babies were born, isn't tiger .. they are two patternless dalmatian.
Yes, the dalmatian is a character quite strong, but it happened also to me that, from a dalmatian pairs, babies were born without spots or with a maximum of 1-2 .. mystery

I gave up because I didn't like that much .. but if you like it, is right to try to select it, also because in your gecko it's very marked!
