Default Can anyone tell me what this one is...

Hey all...as some of you know I'm still new to the day gecko world. I don't have any yet, still doing my research and reading my books. There is a post on anther forum were a guy is wondering what he has...I'm "S." there on there so you know who I am. I'm hoping to help him out a bit. By what my book says I think he has a dubia...maybe a yellow throated. Let me know what you all think...

Geckos - New day gecko

Are you sure? Its the markings on the head that made me think other wise. Plus doesn't it look to be bigger, like maybe a 5-6 inch? IDK. =) Thanks for the help, thats got to be it.

I seen that you only paid $26 for it. That's a pretty good deal.

Also the Dubia has a blue ring around it's eye and I don't think it has the dorsal line the one in the pic has

I agree, I can't think of any other one it could be. You guys have to be correct. Like I said I'm new to them and still learning. But Its always that way with reptiles, one of the reasons I like them so much, no way to know it all.

High tropical with lots of plants/ hides. An easy way to identify dubias is that they have a noticeable orange iris.
