Default phelsuma ID?

i dont have a pic right now but i will try and get one later, its afew inches long with a orange head and green/grayish body, it has an orange belly and black under its chin, the store i got it from had a couple other geckos the same size that looked brown(the cage was dark and there so small)but also had the orange belly, they said i got the male and the others were female but dident know anything about them so i only bought the one, they were only $10 so i think i will go back tomorrow and get one of the females and see what happens, i plan on feeding it fruit flys and small crickets plus some day gecko diet dos that sound good? and what should the temp and humidity be? i know they need UVB light, was thinking of getting the 12"X12"X18" exo terra tank for it/them

Default RE: phelsuma ID?

If you bought this at a pet store for $10 I doubt that is a phelsuma klemmeri. I'm not sure you even have a species of phelsuma at all listening to your description. You'll have to send a pic for an ID.

sorry for the weak description i was wrighting in a hurry, it looks quite similar to klemmeri wich is what i thought it was at first, but the head is not as bright and no stripes on the back, also it is more of a green color then grey like klemmeri, iam sure its a phelsuma but i cant find any pics like it on the net, is there any phels that the male and female are diffrent colors? as most ive seen of them they look the same, and the other geckos at the store had orange bellies like this one but were brown with no orange head

also sence these are WC and i have quite a few CB animals in the house like dart frogs, cham ect should i do anything for parasites? i havent had any WC herps in a wile

This is no Phelsuma for sure.
Lygodactylus picturatus fits the description.

Hi,

I would agree with Sander. Maybe it's a picturatus or a kimhowelli but it could also be a mombasicus i think.

Regards,
Markus
