Default Ready for eachother?

Hey everyone, about a month back i bought a young pair of phelsuma kochi. The male was a little bit smaller then the female but the breeder re assured me they would be fine together after a month or two. I got them July 28th and this is how they look today. Are they ready to be together? Sorry the pictures are not amazing, but to me they look like they are the same size. should the male be bigger? I should taken pictures but when i first got them the male was quite smaller. They are both young though, under a year old. Not that it matters, male on right female on left. Lemme know what you guys think.

In my opinion I would wait until they are both a year old to pair them up.

I agree. Some suggest waiting until the female reaches 18 months before breeding. If I was in your position, I'd wait until next year for introduction.

I purchased my pair and placed them together when they were two years old. They were healthy and large. I would have to check my records, but I believe I had twenty-five babies last year from this pair. I don't know if there has been any research regarding production as a function of age, but I would wait to place them together. Now that I have some yearlings that I hatched on my own, I can see a big difference between a yearling and a two year old adult.
