Default Anyone try that new Phelsuma MRP?

I just picked up a bag from Julie at Gecko Ranch. It's still a little cold in NY so I'm not getting a good indication of whether or not my grandis likes it. She's been on CGD for a while and I expected more of an immediate response.

Default Crested Gecko Diet fed to giant day geckos, Phelsuma grandis

The below was performed before the Phelsuma diet came out.

GiantDayGecko.com participated in a 4 month feeding trial for Repashy Meal Replacement Powder (Gecko MRP, Version 3.0)

The study consisted of 6 groups, each containing 5 giant day geckos, Phelsuma grandis.

Group 1: Repashy diet
Group 2: Guava Gerber babyfood*
Group 3: Crickets*
Group 4: Repashy diet and Guava Gerber babyfood*
Group 5: Repashy diet and Crickets*
Group 6: Crickets* and Guava Gerber babyfood*
Group 7: Crickets* and Repashy diet mixed with Guava Gerber babyfood*
*with Rep-Cal calcium ultrafine powder plus vitamin D3.

A scientific paper entitled:
"Evaluation of a meal replacement powder fed to giant day geckos (Phelsuma grandis)",
is under review by the Bulletin of the Journal of Herpetogical Medicine and Surgery. Look out for it!

Some interesting findings included:
1) Geckos readibly consumed the Repashy diet after a variable acclimization period.
2) Hatchlings were slower to accept the Repashy diet than sub adults and adults.
3) Some geckos experienced feeding burnout and had to be supplemented with novel food items.
4) Geckos from Group 1, 2, and 4 experience significantly decreased growth rate.
5) In terms of growth and general health Group 7 performed the best.
6) Repashy Meal Replacement Powder (Gecko MRP, version 3.0) will benefit the growth and general health of captive giant day geckos and is recommended as an important component of their diet.

That's a cool study, but I'm asking specifically about the Phelsuma MRP with a klemmeri on the front.

I'm encouraged that Baugh has had success because my grandis mostly ignores it. I'm guessing it's a temperature thing and when my house warms up a little her appetite will pick up. It's about 75 in her tank, definitely on the cool side for phelsuma.

Terradas I am currently keeping 5 species of phelsuma. All of which eat the new day gecko diet. Even my juvies go striaght for it. I also have a controled reptile room where my temps stay bewteen the mid 70's to low 80's. Even if the temps are down low the grandis should still eat some.

The new Mrp, as I understand it, is just a mixture of 2 different 2 part flavors. I think it's cherry and fig, but I'm not 100% on that. So if your geckos ate the Cgd, they should love the new combination.
