Default Male klemmeri slipping

I have dealt with many Phelsuma for years...but this if my first full breeding season with P.klemmeri. My female produced 3 fertile clutches this season, and is doing fine. I noticed that my male had been having a hard time keeping his grip on the snake plants. He has exaggerated calcium sacs, and does not seem to be twitching. I have seem calcium deficiency with Phelsuma and know that one of the first signs is the gecko having poor grip. I guess there is a possibility that he is going through a shed, but I separated him from the female. For the other klemmeri breeders out there, let me know if you have had this problem with males.
Thanks
Joe

Hey, I have read a couple other posts on this forum where the gecko was having grip problems. Both of them shed either days or something like a week later. Hope this helps

I noticed my male cepediana was having trouble climbing on the bamboo in his viv 3 days ago. Yesterday he shed his skin, and today he is back to normal climing all over the glass. I hope your male is also just going through the same

Well, I guess it was a shed issue...Hes fine now...I found some leftover skin from his tail. I guess I was bored because I had the day off and payed too much attention to him on the ground.
