Yes, I am very pleased with her. She is my first and, presently, only guimbeaui, but I hope that changes. She is very entertaining to watch and far from skittish, though I do not take any chances with guimbeaui, cepediana, or borbonica.
I have been surprised at how bold and curious she is. She is definitely among my favorites.

Fantastic pictures! Thanks for sharing! They all look brilliant, especially the robertmertensi and the guimbeaui (i cant wait to get some guimbeaui one day - they're my favourite phelsma looks wise). I wish i had the space for some kochi as yours look beautiful!
As you keep robertmertesi and klemmeri i thought id might as well ask, which do you prefer to keep? I ask this as i am considering possibly getting a pair of either species and not sure which would be more rewarding?

I know that James and someone else (Jeff B?) told me who produced her, I simply could not remember. Were the parents Hawaiian lines? I am hoping to acquire more, I know one person on the forum will likely have pairs available later in the year. Do you have any unrelated males or other guimbeaui?
She really is fantastic.
Thanks!

I have enjoyed keeping both species. They are both individually beautiful, it just depends on what you are looking for. I have only had my robertmertensi for two months and have not seen any eggs, so I am no expert. I have been keeping klemmeri since late 2009 and they have done well for me. I finally paired a lone male I had with a young female I purchased at the same time I got the robertmertensi. She has laid one clutch and is gravid again.
I am not sure how prolific robertmertensi are, but I don't think they are problematic. I'm sure they will do well, they are really quality animals.
I do find the robertmertensi to be more bold than the klemmeri. I see them out in the enclosure more often and they are not as wary of me, though klemmeri aren't terribly skittish, in my experience. I think they might be a little faster than the klemmeri, but both species are quite manageable. They are nowhere near as fast as the borbonica, guimbeaui, or cepediana I have.
I do see the male robertmertensi display to the female and seems to be more aggressive than my male klemmeri (but then I saw a male klemmeri chasing a female for a minute yesterday). I should really say "assertive," because I would not consider them aggressive.

I haven't gotten either species but plan to get some P robertmertensi in August from Kurt Lantz. He told me that he keeps pairs together in 15 gallon high tanks, which I was shocked to hear as it does not seem like enough space. He said year round with no problems. I am not sure how aggressive the P klemmeri can be though. I know lots of the members seem to have P klemmeri. I personally like the coloration more on the P robertmertensi.

I purchased my robertmertensi from Kurt. I am consistently pleased with the quality of the animals I have purchase from him.
The male robertmertensi are brilliantly colored and really quite bold. I highly recommend working with this species.

Thanks very much for getting back to me about the robertmertens and klemmeri. It is very interesting how you say the roberts are very bold as day geckos in captivity implies they are shy. I guess it always depends on specific animals though as my cepediana are not shy and my female ornata (rip) was the boldest day gecko i have ever encountered! I am really stuck which to get as both sound like fantatic species to keep. To be honest i am swaying slightly toward th klemmeri at the moment purely because the roberts look very similar to my pasteuri in many ways. I think that i will most likely get whichever i can locate first when i have the necessary funds as they both seem like brilliant little species. Thanks for sharing your experiences
