Hi,
is there someone on the forum that could explain to me how the numbering system work that you use to indicate sex etc. of your gecko? Is it right that there is always three digits?

Hey, most people use 3 digits, but occasionally I have seen people use 4
1.2.4
1 Male . 2 Female . 4 Juvenile or unsexed

Usually when someone uses a 4th digit it is to represent eggs incubating
1.2.4.2
1 Male . 2 Female . 4 Juvenile . 2 Eggs

I personally only use 3 digits. There is always that ? when someone uses a
4th digit as to what they really mean.

Hey, as far as I know my user name is Norwegian/ Swedish. I am not very familiar with the languages of the 3 countries (Norway, Sweden, Denmark) though. My heritage is Scandinavian.

Just for the record daggekko also means day gecko in danish.

I actually assume it would be the same in all three named countries.

I have a translating program on my phone and when I did the Danish translation it says "Day gekko"...But like I was saying, my foreign language skills are almost non at all. It seems like people from those 3 countries speak english fairly well anyhow-is this true?

Usually to indicate eggs I just put a plus after the first three digits. Just thought I would throw that out there.
