Default Klemmeri

Hey folks. Thanks to the great responses to Looking to fill a tank. in the N00B threads.

I have decided to house 2-3 Ph. klemmeri.

I was just wondering if anyone could shed more light on keeping this species. Once the tank is set up I'm going to be breeding fruit flies to feed them. I have to say these little guys are darn cute. If I give them enough surface area in a 12x12x18 ExoTerra tank that should be enough room correct?

Any and all input is appreciated.

Thanks,
Kruggar.

I fed mine fruit flies when it was small since I got her as a juvi. At this point, I'm on the following schedule with her (I've had her for about 5 years or more now):
--Monday and Friday: 4 crickets, 1/8" to 1/4"
--Wed. and Sat.: peach baby food with Repashy's calcium plus mixed in

She's pretty huge for a klemmeri, so she must be thriving on this.

Great! I was hoping to to have to go the cricket route, but I can see how 1 cricket=50 fruit flies... Anyone else have any input?

Good evening,

I wouldn't recommend keeping 3 adult klemmeri in that size enclosure. I keep some of my pairs in slightly larger enclosures. I would like to move them up to larger enclosures in the near future. I feed mine crickets, occasional fruit puree, and Drosophila maybe once a week when I'm feeding frogs and baby geckos.
