How old is it? Looks female to me

I don't have exact age but when I got it it was previously kept in the wrong conditions and I have had to bring it back to health! I even feel reluctant posting a pic as it was so bad

Agreed, female. Mature males not only have pores with a secretion, they also tend to have a slightly orange color in the area around the pores.
