Default Grandis sleeping on front glass

My grandis seems to love to sleep on the front glass. Most of the time only one is on the glass duringthe day but at night all 3 can sometimes be seen on the glass.

I was just curious why they do this? Any ideas?

My grandis does it as well... Is it possible that is where your heat lamp is located? By the front of the glass?

I use puck lights for heat that are off at night. But I was wondering if it had something to do with heat retention in the glass or something.

Yeah shit on the glass for sure! My females sit on the glass the most when they are within 2 weeks of laying eggs Makes it super easy to tell who is going to lay next. I think it could have a lot to do with temperature. I'm sure the glass cools quicker than the air in the tank(since most people house geckos in A/C rooms. What are your daytime/nighttime temps inside your enclosure?
