The gecko that I can find is sitting in the bottom from corner on a piece of bamboo and is VERY dark in color, almost black-green. Anybody figure this is the male being stressed because the female is laying? Anyone else seen this type of behavior and experienced anything different?

My P. klemmeri male paces back and forth with a nervous look while the female is in labor or laying eggs.
My P. nigristriata male gets really dark and also paces back and forth.
