Default Egg laying behavior?

Hey, so tonight I've been sitting here watching the idiot box and taking good looks at all my geckos. In the Phelsuma pasteuri enclosure I can only locate one gecko. I'm not 100% sure if it is the boy or the girl either(because they are only slightly different in size). The gecko that I can find is sitting in the bottom from corner on a piece of bamboo and is VERY dark in color, almost black-green. Anybody figure this is the male being stressed because the female is laying? Anyone else seen this type of behavior and experienced anything different?

My P. klemmeri male paces back and forth with a nervous look while the female is in labor or laying eggs.

My P. nigristriata male gets really dark and also paces back and forth.

Awesome! Well I searched the entire enclosure Wednesday night and again thursday morning because I could not find the female at all. Thursday morning I finally found the femalebut not inside the enclosure. I found her on one my other enclosures. I spent about 10 minutes chasing her around with my trusty Day Gecko catching fish net and put her back in her enclosure. I probably should look for eggs again today but I don't want to have eggs go bad again(like her 6 eggs I found all at once that are sitting in the incubator that all look bad) so I am just going to wait impatiently until I hopefully find babies running around.

As I sit here and type this I can see her and it kindof looks like an egg lump in front of her hind leg
