Default Thinking about giant day geckos.....

I am looking into giant day geckos! i just want to gather some crucial info. Tank size... i have read 40 gallon for a trio and a zoo med 18x18x24 is ok for a pair. Is that ok? that is what the would be living in. Also can the uva/uvb bulb be placed on the glass..? i have read that the rays cannot penetrate glass.

any help please!

Yes a pair could be housed in the 18x18x24. It would still be on the small side for them though.

No UV cannot be placed on the glass. Why would you be worried about this anyhow with the screen top on the zoomed?

No trio, these guys are best housed in pairs. 18x18x24 is perfect!
