Laura Lee, both kind of look female to me too. How old are they?

I don't have their exact hatch dates, but know both were originally purchased by the breeder I got them from as hatchlings in Aug 2010.

I put them together yesterday and they haven't stopped squabbling, so I'm pretty sure both are females. I just had to separate them- the larger got ahold of one of smaller one's toes and it's looking pretty bad.

Phelsuma standingii is one of the very few geckos that are 99% sexable at birth. The golden/yellowish coloration will be present in the femoral (underside of thigh) and preanal area of the males - almost no exceptions (newborn to an adult)!

If a specimen, newborn - adult, lacks this = you have a female.

Obviously, Terradas photos depict the color differences I'm explaining, but this is applicable for all sizes and ages of this species.
