Phelsumas will just drop dead sometimes. Not sure why it happens. But recently Ive had a few of my own. One was a female cepediana. Healthy, active eating well. Dead. One was a female madagascarensis. Same thing. Its happened a few times over the years. Pain in the ass but what you gona do?
