The green tree frog and the barking tree frog are more diurnal than nocturnal.

Would either of those be a good choice to house with Phelsuma though? I thought the Barking were from The US, and liked cooler climates. I'm not sure where the Green Tree froms are from, but I thought the occured if not all over, at least in the southern part of the US.

They are both from the south east and are both bad choices. They both get some size on them. I would be worried about them trying to eat the geckos. And both of these are awake at night time.

Thank you all for the advice but as i have said before I have not sat down and researched the species of frog I plan to get. I am working on the gecko species firat then basing that over which frog to get. So at this point frog species is irrelevant and of no help to me, when I have questions on frogs I will go to a frog forum. As of now I had a question on geckos it was answered successfully and I am very appreciative of that. So thank you and when I have done more research and made choices on species I will update this thread.

So I have decided Phelsuma is not the species I am looking for to create a viable community tank and have turned my interest else where. Thank you so much for the advice.

I don't know if I should be happy or upset! Do you have any Phelsuma at all anyhow? You should get one either way!

No I really am not that into them, I just thought they wouldbe the most suitable species for a set up like this (I see ALOT of commuinty vivs with phelsuma and all kinds of frogs) and look nice in a community viv. I actually am drooling over U. phantisticus as of now! But have decided on Anoles for a community viv.
