Extention
I have a 55-gallon tank (long) that I want to add an extention to (high), and then split it down the middle. i was hoping to be able to use fiberglas (at least mostly) for this, using some sort or adhesive/glue to secure the bottoms on the rear, right, and left sides, and then hane the 2 doors that open for each side right in front. as far as the split....on the existing tank, there is a piece of glass (i guess for support) that will be getting in the way. its broken, but still there and is in TIGHT! i was thinking about cutting a piece of fiberglas for the bottom, then 1 for the top and using the same "gluing" method With that. Will that work, do you think? Any better ideas? One more thing- after initial construction, what is the best method to use to put effective heat lamp/uvb on top? please if ANYONE and EVERYONE could answer all of thes questions, I would be very happy. i'll put a couple pics of the tank on here for you to see. it has a bunch of stuff filling it up right now,but just ignore all of that. Thanks!
