Default Im looking to make a custom terrarium for my leo sketchy

Like it says i wanna build a custom terrarium but right now im not sure what size i should make it. I have read on some care sheets that you shouldnt have to big of a terrarium because it could make it harder for the gecko to find his hides, basking spots, food and water. Im planing on getting another gecko soon after im finished building it so i can breed them in that tank so it needs to have ample room for 2 leos for when they are both in it. sometime i would like to breed a couple geckos or just get 2 females to put in it but for now just my one leo sketchy needs a bigger space. I will post some pics throughout the build to keep anybody interested updated. any suggestions on a size for them would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

With leos as long as you can make sure the entire tank is heated to the correct temps size of enclosure shouldn't matter. A while back I knew a guy that grew up 2 leos in a 125 gallon tank. I've also seen someone else keep a couple leos in a very tall tank(I want to say it was a 30 gallon xhigh) with elevated climbing and basking spaces. I know that there was a couple of these rope style bird perches in it and some other things to climb on. The owner said her geckos climbed all over the place.

If your going to have this DIY as a display I would say floor dimensions of 18" x 36"-48". I would probably build one that was about 20" or so high.

Are you going to build the enclosure from scratch or convert something? Sliding glass doors make an awesome addition!
