Well, I don’t know about a brand new incubator. But I found another of my old incubators that seems to keep the temperature better without overheating.
It depends as well on how long I will hold on to this years’ babies. As you know I prefer to keep them a little longer to document their development. So I might just wait until 2022 until I incubate some eggs again. We’ll see.

Thank you for spicing up Geckos Unlimited with your nice crisp Eublepharis hardwickii offspring photos, Johannes!!! I'm glad you located an older incubator that will work next time you breed these guys. Time is precious. Yours is too.
I love keeping my hatchlings a while too, before letting them go."If you can hear crickets, it's still summer." ;)

I've been noticing more pics on facebook, Johannes.
Have you a care sheet link to share now or a published article?"If you can hear crickets, it's still summer." ;)

Sorry for the delay. But I think it makes more sense to make a monthly update post to avoid multiple posts with just one photo.

I had the honor to write an article about Eublepharis hardwickii for the November issue of the Herpetoculture Magazine. They even made it their cover article
It probably does not contain much new info for the loyal readers of this thread.
It's more like a first introduction of this species and should not be mistaken for a full care sheet.
You can read it for free and download the pdf here:
