First is my newest Leachianus. It is a pure GTB, about 3 years old. She is a very... And I thought I would take some of my newer acquisitions.

First is my newest Leachianus. It is a pure GTB, about 3 years old. She is a very heavily bodied gecko, being three years old, and nearly 150 grams. I couldn't get her to fire up, but she usually has a nearly red color around her blotches. She also has two red spots on her.

Second is a new Pine Isle Chahoua. I am hoping it turns out female. I looked at her under 45X and see no signs of pores, though she is still small (11 Grams)


Next are some Gargoyles.
The first is a probable female, black and white striped. She is starting to show a little red as well.


Next is my female from Max in Germany. Her father is the gecko he posted pictures a while back that was wild caught in 96, or 98.. I forget what year.


Finally, is my chewie which I was unsure of the sex of forever. It is undoubtedly a late blooming male Pine Isle from German lineage.

So with the ceiling heights in the new place, if I eliminate a single level of 24" tall enclosures, I can fit two levels of 18" cubes. Problem is this existing level of 24" tall enclosures has all my leachianus henkeli on it, and the only other level of 24" enclosures are dedicated to larger Uroplatus species. Do you think single leachianus henkeli would be fine in 18" cubes, or so I just stick with things the way they are? I know a lot of care sheets say 20-30 gallon enclosures for these guys, and these are about 25 gallon.

Opinions would be great.

I'm new to owning a reptile and just looking for a bit of advice.

Recently purchased a crested gecko (yesterday actually), and wanted to go over a few things.

1) Should I be feeding the gecko a combination of crickets and CGD? Or are crickets sufficient to live off of? I've seen a few feeding schedules online that suggest crickets once a week, with fresh CGD every other day. Is that preferred?

2) Humidity. I like in the Midwest (US) where the humidity tends to be a little on the low side (compared to Florida, etc.) With misting, I'm noticing that the humidity tends to spike to around 70-80% shortly after misting, but then drops to the mid to high 50's after that. In the morning when I wake up, its dropped even further to ~45-50% Is that ok, or should I add a little container of moss to the vivarium to provide consisten humidity. I feel like spikes in humidity would be uncomfortable if I were in his shoes.


My set up is a tall vivarium (I believe 20g althought I might be wrong, I'm at work now), with a log to climb on as well as a fake hanging plant on one side.
