I have three different supplements for my leo, and was wondering if could mix my multivitamin: Rep-Cal Supplements

On Rep-Cal's website, it says that I can mix it with their calcium, but does it really matter as long as I stick to the 1:1 ratio that it says to do on their website. But it does not say how often I should dust with that mixture

I purchased my Crestie from PetSmart back in October 2012.
He was a healthy little boy that I brought home, and the first few days he hadn't eaten anything but a few bites of banana baby food.
After those few days, he started to eat the mini sized canned crickets - and would eat about four every night. He shed twice from October through December.

He was my college pet, and when I brought him home with me for Christmas he barely ate for four weeks (maybe a couple times a week), and he didn't shed again until he was eating normally in January when he was back at my school.

Once again, he started eating normally, and when I would bring him home he would eat normally inside of his carrying case (a cricket-keeper) each night. In the middle of April I was informed by the school that they had learned about Gizmo and I had to get him off campus. My mother picked him up and brought him home with her.

He wouldn't eat for her for about a week… which I had read is normal when they are not comfortable with their surroundings. Finally he began to eat bites of Repashy off of a small spoon that comes with the canned crickets. He would take about three bites of Repashy, and turn his nose up to the crickets.

It is now June, and he refuses to eat out of his cage (to my knowledge), but I am able to hand feed him Repashy from the spoon and sneak a few crickets here or there.

He still poops nice and big, so I know he isn't starving. But some nights (such as tonight and last night) he turns his nose up completely to the food. He was looking a little pale, so either I had just woken him up or maybe he's going to shed…

He hasn't shed since April, and he is maybe about an inch to an inch and a half bigger than he was when I got him in October.

Is he healthy? Is there anyway I can break him of his feeding habit and get him to eat in his cage on his own again? He is my first Crestie, as well as my first reptile.

I've been using the recyclable drink trays you get from fast food joints as my egg flats for my dubias, crickets, and hissers. They work pretty well, but only way I can get them is by eating out and I'd like to start cutting back on it. :P It's not exactly healthy and expensive! I've tried looking around for egg flats online, and most websites either charge way too much for too little, or offer many at a decent price, but nail you on the S&H.

I found this place online:
5x6 XL Filler Flat w/ FREE shipping
70 flats for $27 with free S&H.

It's the best one I've found so far and I'm ready to order some. BUT. I want to know if you guys have found BETTER deals than this.

Hello all!

I have recently stumbled upon a large group of aphids covering an oak tree at a near by park. This is a frequently visited park on the weekends and is sparsly busy on the weekdays. It is surrounded by houses and a college. I haven't noticed the spraying of pesticides in the trees but I want to make sure. Is the sight of aphids in a tree, a sign that the tree is pesticide free?

The reason: I'm looking into giving my Williamsi some more options in food items.

Thanks!

Hey guys, I've had my dubia's for almost two months I believe and I have yet to see any babies. My temps. are 85F, 20% humidity if I forget to turn the humidifier on, 50% if I do turn it on. Heating with a 100watt CHE on a dimmer. I have egg crates inside the opaque purple bin, along with some water crystals in a little bowl, and ground up dog food in one corner. I know people say dog food is a no no, but the guy I bought the roaches from fed them dog food, and he has a ton. He gave me mostly nymphs that were very close to adulthood, and now all are adults except for the ones I got from the reptile shop. If I remember correctly, there's a 1:3 male to female ratio and I have 10 males and 30 females. I know at least ONE is prego, because I saw her ootheca a while ago. Do females have a certain look when pregnant? A lot of them look more cylindrical from the back, and some look flatter. I've given them oranges, carrots and lettuce sparingly. The bin is right next to my window in my closet, but it's quite dark because I barely open my blinds. Can anyone help me out here?

Hey, Petsmart has their brand "All Living Things". They did a reset with their reptile products(HUGE expansion) and added a product called "Crested Gecko Powder". I couldn't tell if it was possibly made for them by Repashy so I wanted to ask some nutrition geeks what they thought. The fruit flavoring I'm going to imagine my Phelsuma would LOVE. So here are the ingredients:

Egg(whole dried), Honey powder, Banana powder, Fig powder, Mango powder, Dextrose, Modified food starch, Soy protein isolate, flaxseed meal, calcium carbonate, vegetable oil, brewers dried yeast, dicalcium phosphate, dried kelp, sodium chloride, di-methionine, choline chloride, lecithin, mixed tocepherols, silicon dioxide, rosemary extract, citric acid, potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate, iron sulfate, zinc sulfate, magnesium oxide, beta carotene, vitamin e supplement, niacin, copper sulfate, menadione sodium bisulfate complex, vitamin a supplement, riboflavin supplement, sodium selenite, vitamin d3 supplement, vitamin b12 supplement, biotin supplement, folic acid.

If someone could pretty pretty please explain whats good/bad about these ingredients as well? My diet sucks(lots of junk food and mt dew) so I could use some help understanding.

I realize this is a total newbie question. My son has had his leopard gecko, Oscar, for less than a week and we are still trying to work out the kinks in our system. I am trying to figure out the best way to go about dealing with crickets. .

Right now we are keeping them in a small plastic critter bin. Currently the crickets are being fed layer chicken feed with an orange slice or carrots/potatoes. Can I just put the crickets for the next days feeding in an empty large yogurt bin to gut load them?

Oscar is currently eating between 3-5 crickets and a few mealworms a day. The crickets are being dusted with calcium with D3 a couple of times a week.

Also, how often does the cricket poo need to be cleaned out of their container?
