Hey,

So I recently moved, and I'm setting up my new reptile room which will hold about 60 different geckos, plus a variety of other reptiles. The problem is that I have stuff that comes from all over and I'm trying to figure out an easier and more efficient way of making sure everything get's the right temperatures. In this room I am mainly using exo terra terrariums, some bins and faunariums for small stuff, then a few larger wood cages for dwarf monitors and skinks (these are fine though, they are easy to control internal temps as they are completely separate to everything else). I have three racks, the first has 18"x18"x18" and 18"x18"x24" with New Caledonian species, goniurosaurus, aeluroscalabotes, uroplatus and p.masobe/gracilis The sedond rack is mainly 12"x12"x18" terrariums and has phelsuma, gonatodes, thecadactylus and frogs, finally the third rack is bins, faunariums, and 12x12x18" with Paroedura, oedura, phyllurus caudiannulatus, pachydactylus and nephrurus. So I have tried to separate it somewhat based on similar temps, but still it's the same room. So aside from individually heating and having thermostats on everything what is a good way of making sure everything has appropriate temps without impeding on everything else.

Any easy solutions without having to buy an elaborate and expensive system of heaters, air conditioners, and thermostats?

Any ideas would be great, pictures would be amazing.

Thanks in advance!

I was thinking of buying one of those cheap shelf units from Walmart, they are around 25-30 dollars. They are tall and I think they have six shelves.I know they have a cardboard backing that I could replace with either quarter inch plywood or pegboard.
Anyone try doing this?
This would be for leopard gecko pairs so not humid or anything that messy.

I guess heating maybe using heat cable?
Any suggestions?

I would use simple plexiglass doors that are hinged and drop down.
I want to keep it simple yet a little better for visibility then using bins.
