Default Turtles Basking on a Log

Not really a trip, but while walking the Deleware Canal Path in Lambertville, NJ I ran across these and snapped a couple of shots.

Couldn't get close enough to tell for sure, but I'm pretty sure that they're painted turtles. Not sure of the nomenclature, but we have a butt load of them around.
