Default Turkey Run State Park

Part of our New Years resolution is to take our dog hiking to several of the Indiana State parks (the one a mile from our house doesn't count). Come March, we will have a second Rhodesian Ridgebacks to take hiking with us

That looks like a neat place to hike! How big an area does the nature trail(s) cover.

Btw -- love your hubby's hat. Is he into arachnids?

The park is 2382 acres, but they only have 13.6 miles of marked hiking trails. They also have several miles of horseback riding trails, just no mtn biking trails due to the terrains being so rugged.

Alex is freaked of spiders, I love rosy T's, but can never get one

Perhaps you could introduce him to a baby A. versicolor. It's hard even for most arachnophobes to take a small bright blue spider with big feet seriously.
