Unhappy Gekko Vittatus/Whitelined lost tail

I found your forum while I was searching for Gekko Vittatus informations regarding broken tail.
Do you have any experience if it re-builds and what it looks like if it does? I wanted to separate my G Vittatus from my Phelsuma Grandis, as I learned it would be better not holding them together. Unfortunately the only thing happened while trying to catch her was, that she lost about 2/3 of her tail.
Would be great, if you could help me...

Sorry for mistakes - my mothertongue is austrian (very close to german)

They will drop their tails as a defence it is nothing to worry about. They will grow their tail back, it wont look as good as the "original" but it will be fine.

Tile is great, if your lizards are indigenous to your bathroom
